Does religion matter who you go out with?

I have this friend from college. I was talking to her past 3 days when I was with her. she told me she hasn't introduce her boyfriend to her parents. I ask her why? she said her parents won't approve cause he has a different religion. she been with this guy over a year now. I'm was kind of surprised. she in her 30s and she the youngest. she doesn't know what to do cause he's been asking her why haven't he met her parents. he's Catholic and she Muslim. I know her parents.Her parents are really nice. I know her father won't like the idea. he's really religious. I ask her why would he want to meet the parents unless he's really serious in the relationship. she thought about that. i  mention about a friend we know. she wouldn't go out with anyone who wasn't Muslim. but she met this guy he was Christian. I know she really like him. she wasn't allow to go hang out with the guy. Her parents was really strict. she always call me to come over to pick her up and we go meet him. I was the third wheel. she told him it was his religion that's why she can't go out with him. he really like her so much. he convert to Muslim to go out with her. they end up getting married and have a daughter now. she was laughing she remember that. it was me and her who was always stuck being the third wheel. It was not fun. We had to Chaperone a 20 year old. I ask her would she ask him to convert. she said no. It's his choice. I told her sooner or later your parents will know. She not getting any younger. I didn't mind her talking to me about religion as long they are not preaching to me. It's annoying when people start preaching I should believe in Jesus and there's no other god. I know this girl she always preaching to me back then. Telling me my religion was crap. I should believe in her religion. She was getting on my nerves. I went out got a devil doll and put it on her desk. Thats when she stop talking to me about religion. People shouldn't tell other people what to believe in. It's your own choice what to believe in. It's really interesting to learn about different religion on your own. I have pick up certain things about different religion the past few years. My friend who start this conversation told me a few months ago how a Muslim women has to be pure every month. She was explaining it to me in details. I was kind of shock. You learn new things everyday. Does religion matter who you go out with? 

I slept for 3 hrs woke up with a nightmare. Can't go back to sleep. I got to be up in 30 mins. I'm going to be tired today. My friend is picking me up at 2pm. I really hate waiting for people. I know he's going to be late. So I'm going to tell him be at my house at 1pm. He's going to show up at 2pm or later. Men are always late.
